G´day,
And again a happy welcome to my congregation, Hi Emily, Josara, Julia, Cord, Andrew, Scott and Bill. I´m a little worried about my friends back in Melbourne, swine flu outbreak in Australia and most cases in Victoria, more specific in Melbourne and even more specific in the northern suburbs. Josara take care! I don´t want you to get sick. Well I don´t want all of you to get sick but most of all I don´t want Josara to get sick...
Today the W.H.O. in Geneva declared pandemia alert level 6 and I think that is the first time during my lifetime we had this level. I´ve searched the net but I don´t think that AIDS ever counted as pandemia. Could be I´m wrong but I can´t spend half a day on research on the web...someone who works as a microbiologist could tell me...
In Germany we had 30 new cases this week in the Japanese school in Düsseldorf, 300 people in quarantine and the yellow press spreads panik...lol Anyway I´ve been to Münster yesterday and went on the market with my mother and took some pictures.

The weekly market is situated on the little hill in the center of Münster which was the origin of the city. In the sixth century the first settlements were located there and later the dome was built on that hill.

My mum was buying flowers...and some flowers but also flowers...

Ah, in the background of the last pic you can see the the gothic town hall in which the peace of Westphalia was signed in 1648.

Well, another pic from the town hall...btw the peace of Westphalia ended the 30 years war and the 80 years war at the same time...well look it up on the internet if you want to know more...

The educational part of today´s blog is my awesome bread recipe. Well, it´s tried and tested (now) and it was quite a success. You´ll need:
500g flour (wheat but you can also use wholegrain or whatever but I won´t guarantee that it´ll work)
250ml milk
60ml Olive oil
1 spoonfull of sourcream
40g of fresh yeast
Wattleseed, Saltbush, Mountain Pepper
sugar

Mix the yeast with 3 spoonfull of lukewarm milk and half a spoon of sugar

Stir with half of the flour and put it in the oven at 35 degrees for 15 min

Then mix the rest of the milk with a spoonfull of sour cream, the olive oil and the spices and also put into oven at 35 degrees

After 15 min mix milky oily stuff with the yeasty floury stuff and put the rest of the flour into the dough and knead the dough for approx 5 min, well at least until you think it´s ready...should look like this

put the dough into the cake pan (oil beforehand! important tip) and into the oven on 35 degrees for an hour

the dough should at least double it´s size

and after an hour put the oven on 200 degrees and bake the bread for 1,5 hours

As you have oiled the baking pan it should be easy to get the bread out...

Let bread cool down and try it and say....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! awesome

That´s it for today...I was to go to my friend Dirk tonight but as he is sick (probably swine flu, if you read this: get well soon) I´ll stay home...looking forward to talk to Josara in two hours...ok...have fun, take care and cya
